I was an extremely smart , visually oriented but lonely child whose favorite outlet was drawing anything that was in front of me. As I got older, I moved into painting eventually studying art in college. After college, I studied digital imaging software (2-D and 3-D) becoming fluent enough to teach traditional & computer techniques at a college level.
I use many traditional 2-D mediums, such as pencil, pastels, inks, acrylics, and oils. I also explored digital media processes integrating digital and classic techniques in my projects is both energizing and challenging.
Anything that moves, speaks, or just sits there can inspire me. People, animals, inanimate objects, or funny weird conflicting concepts are all fun to visualize and make, fun being a big motivator.
